Deep down inside, you knew that an accident involving Porsche's new Macan was bound to hit the airwaves sooner rather than later and it happened in Poland last Friday when an Audi A4 Avant violently smashed into an example of Stuttgart's compact SUV knocking it over on its head and onto a tree.
Polish news station kontakt24 didn't mention any fatalities, but said that, according to a police spokeswoman, the drivers of the two cars along with a 63-year old passenger, were taken to a local hospital to treat their injuries.
The Porsche Macan went on sale earlier this year and is offered with up to four powertrains in some markets, including the brand's first four-cylinder unit in more than two decades.
